Your best friend’s girlfriend
Okay this is not earth shattering, awe inspiring style. But to me, it’s kind of iconic style: it’s like timeless “alternative girl” with the requisite boots, ripped denim shorts and shirts that look like they could have been borrowed from her boyfriend. You could make minor changes to this formula and she could be from 2002 or 1992 as well. So in a funny way it’s a kind of classic style. And I like it.

Two strong spring trends: top knot and printed pants
I see printed pants and jeans on all my favorite online stores but I’m not sure they’re something I can get behind for myself. But when I see someone pulling them off successfully like her, it makes me rethink it. I also love the top knot which I’ve been seeing everywhere downtown.

First there was nail art…now face art? Yea or Nay? Well at least the boots are killer!
Yeah, I know you clever girls and boys recognize the astro-turf from Le Bain. I met Katherine here last Tuesday. And while there were plenty of people in crazy outfits it was her face that caught my attention. I felt like she took nail art techniques and applied them to her visage. And I’m not sure what I think other than it reminds me of those little silver balls on holiday cookies and I wondered if she’d make it through the night without someone trying to eat them off of her…
The boots are undeniably ass kicking…

this is me with my dog naz –technically named nasdaq (yes, after the stock market!) I’m in love with these boots. They have studs on the inside and can completely fold down, be worn 1/2 & 1/2 (like here) or all the way up. Happy Sunday everyone. Enjoy it…the work week has not yet begun.
