Another brilliant Brahmin bag giveaway!

If you’re a regular reader of StyleDefined NYC you may remember when I was asked by Brahmin to be part of a design team made up of style bloggers to create a new spring bag. Well the result was this Jolie clutch! It combines fully functional style with some of the hottest Spring trends. This over-sized clutch is not only a wardrobe necessity this season, but mixes blocks of color with stripes for a chic, modern piece.

Me and my jolie Brahmin Clutch
Last summer BRAHMIN invited several prominent style bloggers in New York to a special event: we were going to design bags for Brahmin. We were put into teams of 2 or 3 bloggers with one of their designers and given two different styles to design. One of my team’s styles was the clutch. We brainstormed what would be our perfect clutch. For us it needed to be oversized, with an open back pocket to slip our phone or ipad into, have an optional strap and be color blocked. We also decided that it should be an asymmetrical front flap that had a magnetic closure.
Tonight the unveiling of our design happened. I can’t even begin to tell you how amazing it was to actually hold a bag that I helped design. And I have to say it was a pretty funny coincidence that one of the two color choices completely matched what I was wearing! –sooo not planned! I know that it’s not a typical “street style” photo but decided to post it anyways…and if you want your own bag you can vote for your favorite design (Jolie, hint hint!) and be entered in a contest to win it in the Blogger Dream Bag Collection on Vogue.com, or wait for my giveaway here!

First Giveaway of 2012? A Brahmin Mini Anytime Bag!
The holidays are over and the January/February winter doldrums are about to set in. Which is why I decided it’s time to have another giveaway on StyleDefined NYC. This time it’s a croc embossed leather bag by Brahmin. I will admit: I have three Brahmin bags of my own, so clearly I am a fan of this company! Although it’s not as well known as other labels the quality of each bag speaks for itself.
