Badass Overalls. REALLY
I have a confession to make: I have a love/hate relationship with a particular clothing item. The Overall. When I was 6 years old my grandmother got me and my favorite cousin who was a year younger matching railroad striped overalls. Riding around the neighborhood on our Big Wheels in our overalls we were seriously bad ass… as I got older girls over the age of 12 wearing overalls looked like they were trying too hard to look innocent/sexy –especially when they wore them with little bikini tops which is a look that induces major rolling of eyes by yours truly!
So when I see someone who is wearing them in a seriously bad ass way, my 6 year old self not only approves but secretly wonders if I could do it too…I don’t know. Either way: leather overalls with a fur? Brilliant. Really.

A final fur
As spring is officially happening I hope we’ve seen the end of wintery weather…but you never know! Her fur is a bit insane but definitely eye-catching. Also love the wide leg tailored trousers in leather. An elegant option when you’re not feeling the leggings.
Paint it black
I get all excited when people wear prints and color because New Yorkers are known for wearing all black all the time. But I can get excited about all black too. (maybe I’m just excitable?) Anyways when you look this stylish why not just make it a uniform?

Leopard Love
Our friend Dominicci proves that sometimes more IS MORE. We’re loving the leopard necklace on the leopard shirt. The gold pants are a bit crazy but it’s all outrageous in a good way. -And his friend’s furry/feather style works too – we’re just feeling a bit crazy for the leopard today!

Layer it up
I don’t care if it’s Moncler or Margiela for H&M. I am not a fan of puffy down coats for the city. The reason? There’s too much difference between the heat indoors and outside and when you’re inside it might not be a situation where you can leave your coat at the door. The answer for cold weather then is clever layering as seen on the two models above. Leathers under larger pieces or layered up furs are a really smart way to get through a cold day. I’d love to say the strong brow on the left was part of her everyday look as well but truthfully she just left CHROMAT where she modeled in the presentation!

Richie Moo rocks fur
Richie was one of the models the other day for our 5Preview shoot and so I took a photo of him on the way into the studio. It’s crazy how a fur coat can make everything a little more fabulous.
