Striking a pose outside of the Highline Ballroom
Last night rock & rollers and those who love them were at The Highline Ballroom celebrating the launch of Luc Carl‘s new book The Drunk Diet -a book that is part diet and part memoir from a legendary nightlife figure. It was a rock & roll party like you can only find in NYC with drag king Murray Hill as the MC and performances by Breedlove, Brian Newman and Kelle Calco & the Boys. And naturally the crowd had a mix of fun and outrageous style going on.

Will I see you at the Drunk Diet Release Party?
You know you love to party. But you want to keep your New York figure and Adderall just makes you too edgy…so Luc Carl has the answer for you in his new book, the perfectly un-PC “the Drunk Diet” Catch him at Barnes and Noble a week from Wednesday or hit up the release party afterwards. It’s going to be MAJOR. And if you buy the book and bring it you can get free admission. Hope to see you there! xx

Bowie Ball brings out a bit of Glam
Designer/Nightlife Impresario Deryck Todd turned it out at the Bowie Ball on Saturday night. Full of performances by people who define fabulous such as Kelle Calco, hipsteratti Andrew Watt, singer-comic Amber Martin, and bodacious chanteuse Bridget Everett. Burlesque beauties include the gender bending LeRoi The Girl Boy, the curvalicious Amber Ray and pop pistol Stormy Leather added the sex. And the crowd definitely dressed for the event. And if your make up was too tame? No worries there were make up artists on hand to glam you up! A few photos below, more to come…
