Art opening and runway show will become one. United by inspiration from the greater universe, fine artist Ian Pawelec and fashion designer Geoffrey Mac will join together to exhibit work in Noho based concept store and gallery, MISHA NICOLE. Both Pawelec and Mac’s pieces strive to go further than the contemporary and explore that which is truly outside our realm. Beyond Earth broadens the context of art and fashion challenging the viewer to see the interconnections and contrasts of functional design and fine art that is driven by the immense scope of all that is beyond us.

Geoffrey Mac is a New York based designer, his showstopping designs and masterful constructions have been worn by iconic performers like Debbie Harry, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears and more. His work has appeared in major publications such as The New York Times,  Rolling Stone, V magazine, WWD (Women’s Wear Daily) and Billboard.com. Mac made his official NY Fashion Week debut in February 2012.

Ian Pawelec has shown work at Christie’s New York and Art Station. Pawelec was classically trained at Huntington School of Fine Arts, after which he studied fashion design at Pratt Institute and graphic design at New York Institute of Technology.
