I love this skirt. The sneakers? Well I think they’re the kind with hidden wedge heels which is a trend I just can’t get behind. But to be fair, they have a certain logic if you’re going to be running around the city all day.

Pencil skirt perfection
I love what Amy is wearing here. Lately I’ve been thinking about my fall wardrobe (because really, what else to do in this heat?) and I really want to add a few new pencil skirts to my collection. I love the print on this one and her whole look is pretty seasonless too.

Perfect in a pencil skirt
Blame it on Mad Men, the economy or Marc Jacobs but there has been a definite lowering of the hemline which is frankly refreshing. Her skirt is actually hitting the knee but the high waist and fitted silhouette lengthens the look. She smartly paired it with a relaxed top and tousled hair which safely avoids looking dated.
