Denim On Denim
I usually HATE mixing denims…but every rule must have an exception! Actually these pants are pretty insane: they’re like shorts with leather leggings –you definitely need to be a model or model height to even begin to get away with them…and with sneakers not heels as well! What do you think of this look?

Color and prints abound at this New York Fashion Week, really testing New Yorkers who think the only color to wear is black. This is true in footwear as well as clothing. One trend that is emerging is floral printed sneakers. While I like prints I’ve never been too keen on flowers and so have decided to rock the print look with these Inkkas instead! My new kicks
You know I’ve been talking scarves but let’s move to footwear – no, I’m not about to give Uggs a shout out or tell you about my latest greatest boots (okay, more on that later), but as I head down to Palm Beach for the winter break I really really needed a new pair of something to hang out on the boardwalk, bopping about shopping etc. So…cool moment of pre- x-mas under my tree were a pair of Lacoste sneakers, low outdoor 2 in black, to be precise, from designerstudiostore.com. I usually by Converse One Stars or boy’s suede Pumas but there was something about having the preppy alligator on the side of my shoe that makes me smile.
Love them ! let me say that again – love them!!! Can see many wearable moments in their future when I don’t feel like turning into 5’8” photographer (in heels!) and just want to be hanging and shooting. These will become my go-tos. Check them out.

Anything girls can wear boys can wear too!
Sometimes being a female means there are almost too many options in terms of how you can get dressed –at least in New York! But men generally feel more limited. That’s why I love it when I see men going beyond jeans. Even skinny jeans get boring. Here we have pants, shorts and a kilt at an event and they all look great. I’m also digging the footwear. There are BOWS on the shoes in the middle. Sweet. (yep. I said ‘sweet’)
And the question is: Do patent leather shoes really reflect up?
