NYFW Day Zero

Although NYFW doesn’t officially start at MILK or Lincoln Center until tomorrow, there were plenty of events and shows today. My theory is that people know by this time next week we’re all exhausted so they’re trying to get us while we’re fresh! Vince is one of my amazing assistants this season, and while we were out and about it was pointed out that his sweater happened to match my hair. Coincidence?!? We’re not saying, but I thought I’d post this as the photo for today. Check back soon for coverage from shows from today including DEGEN, Veda, Timothy K and more! xx

Bond Kids in Blue

I took this photo of Dana and Vince, the designers behind Bond Hardware, a while ago. But I think their style is great –including their own pieces that they’re wearing. You can read my interview with them here or look for them assisting with Style Defined NYC during this upcoming NY Fashion Week in February!

Dana + Vince of Bond Hardware

Normally I post full length style shots but I was so enamored by their rings and things I decided to post this instead. Dana Hurwitz + Vince Barile are the designers behind the nascent brand Bond Hardware that is driven by fashion.fetish+found objects. Still in school they’ve already developed a following that goes beyond their room mates and includes their Dads. I interviewed them recently and you can read it here…and feel a little bit more like a slacker that you just spent your college years going to class!
