Listen up peeps. You aren’t necessarily going to discover “the next big thing” on a Reality TV show and there are so many designers that show during fashion week that it’s impossible to see them all –or even bother to read about them during that time. So in case you missed Geoffrey Mac, I’ve now added him to UP|coming. His fall collection is striking. From the built up shoulders to the towering beehives Geoffrey Mac’s Fall 2012 collection can only be described as otherworldly. His forms border on the non-human, creating creatures that embody edge with their exaggerated proportions. He effortlessly balances an introduction of color with serene neutrals showcasing his dramatic silhouettes, leaving his die hard fans –which includes entertainers like Nicki Minaj– wanting more.

What are you currently up to?
We are currently producing and filling orders for our online shop as the feedback from our Fall/Winter 2012 show has been amazing. We are also currently working on many custom orders as well.
Who are 3 artists past or present who inspire you?
Dev Harlan, Nathan Vincent, Cody Critcheloe
Where do you hope to be 3 years from now?
In three years I hope to be adding menswear to the line along with selling world-wide!

Most recently we have dressed Nicki Minaj in her “Stupid Hoe” video (she is wearing our Yemeja Swimsuit) and Taylor Momsen is wearing our black Phoenix dress on the cover of the current Zink Magazine, on newsstands now!
